Klook's decision to pull back from a listing matters to anyone tracking the experiences segment, since an IPO would have given the market its first public view of the platform's finances and valuation.

In a statement published on 16 October 2026, Klook said that "given current market conditions," it has decided this is not the right time to proceed with an IPO. The company said its strategy and priorities remain unchanged and that it "will continue to evaluate the right time for a listing."

Business metrics Klook cited

  • Total experiences booked are on track to exceed 80 million this year.
  • The merchant network has broadened, with 426,000 bookable offerings across more than 4,600 destinations.

Klook said it remains focused on serving travelers and merchants and on building the business for long-term, sustainable growth. The company did not give a new timeline for a listing.
