Klook Partners With Meta's Muse to Enable Agentic Experience Booking in Japan

Klook is putting its inventory inside a major AI assistant, another sign that OTAs are racing to be bookable from within agents rather than only on their own apps.
Klook has partnered with Meta to integrate its offerings into Muse, Meta's personal AI agent, which is debuting in Japan. Travelers can search, discover, assess, book and pay for Klook experiences within a single conversation with Muse, which factors in destination, interests, availability and preferences when recommending.
How it works
- Users can ask follow-up questions, compare options and check cancellation and rescheduling policies.
- When ready, Muse places the order and sends the user to Klook's secure payment page. Muse asks for the user's confirmation before placing orders or starting payments, and confirms the booking in the chat afterward.
- Klook's inventory spans 426,000 bookable offerings across more than 4,600 destinations.
Jakii Chu, Klook's senior vice president of global marketing, said travelers are increasingly turning to AI for inspiration and trip planning. The report also notes the integration could give smaller, independent local merchants more visibility.
