GetYourGuide Says APAC Is Its Fastest-Growing Region, Signs MoU With ASITA Bali

GetYourGuide is doubling down on Asia-Pacific, which it says outgrew every other region in the second and third quarters of 2026.

The company made the announcement at Unlocked Bangkok, its second flagship industry event in the region. Thailand hosts one of its regional offices and is its top destination in Asia Pacific.

Bali agreement

GetYourGuide signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bali chapter of the Indonesian tour and travel association (DPD ASITA Bali). The deal will connect ASITA Bali members to GetYourGuide to attract international travelers and set up a destination data exchange to raise Bali's global visibility. Thomas von Mossener, regional director of APAC, signed for GetYourGuide; I Wayan Suberata, vice chairman, signed for ASITA Bali.

Context

The news follows the 2026 Fall Release announced in September at Unlocked Summit Berlin, which added listing performance insights, AI-assisted listing quality checks and a faster way to message travelers. The company recently announced a new regional office in São Paulo, Brazil.

COO and co-founder Tao Tao said the momentum in Asia shows how interested travelers are in exploring the world, and that GetYourGuide is proud to work with industry leaders, operators and destinations in the region.
