GetYourGuide has signed its first destination-marketing partnership with a national tourism board outside its home market, a template other destinations and local operators may soon see.
GetYourGuide and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding on 15 October 2026 to develop, distribute and promote Singapore's tours and experiences to travelers worldwide. Johannes Reck, GetYourGuide's CEO and co-founder, and Melissa Ow, STB's Chief Executive, signed it at GetYourGuide's Berlin headquarters.
Focus areas
- Market insights: sharing data on traveler preferences and demand.
- Co-ideation: working with tourism stakeholders and providers to create new or improved experiences.
- Joint marketing: exploring campaigns to raise the visibility of Singapore's experiences.
The partnership aims to build a supply of quality tours and experiences and increase tourist spending in Singapore. It is GetYourGuide's first international destination-marketing partnership with a national tourism board outside Germany.
