Expedia Group Previews 2027/28 Connectivity Partner Program Criteria

Expedia Group's supply-side update lists its 2027/28 Connectivity Partner Program criteria, which determine how software partners are ranked and rewarded. It will matter to channel managers, PMSes and the hotels that rely on them.

Tiers and benefits

Partners can qualify as Elite or Preferred. Both receive dedicated account and technical support, regular business reviews, access to financial incentives, a quarterly scorecard email, early access to APIs (at Expedia Group's discretion), product collaboration, co-marketing, and featured placement in the 2028 partner campaign. Elite-only extras include lead capture, an enhanced Provider Guide description and exclusive leadership events.

Qualification metrics (for 2028 status)

• Commercial: Net Booking Value, year-over-year NBV growth for connected properties, and growth in net new properties.
• Technical: adoption of reservation management, product management and Autonomous Distribution; performance on adopted capabilities; and the share of properties making at least one API call in the period.
• Partnership quality: at least one mandatory Optimization Initiative, survey participation, leadership and technical engagement, innovation, and commitment to the Autonomous Supply suite.

Minimum requirements

Property Distribution Software system type; acceptance of the Expedia Group API License Agreement; an Availability/Rates API with Expedia Traveler Preference support; Booking APIs supporting virtual cards, Value Add Promotions and extended POS; and PCI compliance where applicable.
