Cloudbeds Launches Native POS to Bring Hotel Outlets Onto Its Unified Platform
Sarah
Cloudbeds is extending its hotel platform beyond the front desk into on-property outlets, a push that matters for properties tired of reconciling restaurant and bar sales by hand.
On 22 October 2026 Cloudbeds announced Cloudbeds POS, a native mobile point-of-sale system for hotel restaurants, bars, spas and shops. The company says the gap between outlet sales and the core hotel system forces staff to re-enter purchases, check room charges manually and reconcile revenue reports, raising the risk of missed charges on a final bill.
What it does
- Staff take orders by phone or tablet, with modifiers and discounts, routed to kitchen and bar printers.
- Payments cover cash, Tap to Pay, Pay by Link and room charges, including split payments.
- Purchases post directly to guest folios or house accounts for reception review.
- Managers configure each outlet's menus, products, hours, staff permissions and automatic promotions from the desktop.
- Offline order taking, cash acceptance and discounts continue without connectivity and sync afterwards.
- Outlet sales feed into Cloudbeds reporting alongside room revenue.

Cloudbeds POS is currently in pilot with select customers. CEO and co-founder Adam Harris said: "Cloudbeds POS closes that gap and extends our unified platform into that daily activity."
