AI agents are becoming a new distribution surface, and Cloudbeds is positioning its hotels to be found there without routing bookings through an intermediary.

On 20 October 2026, Cloudbeds announced an API integration with Muse, Meta's personal AI agent, launched in September 2026 to help travelers plan, compare and book trips. Participating hotels can be discovered in Muse with live rates and availability.

How it works

  • Guests complete the booking through the hotel's own Cloudbeds Booking Engine, keeping the transaction and guest relationship direct.
  • Reservations flow into Cloudbeds PMS as direct bookings, with no separate integration or new system required.
  • Cloudbeds customers in the United States will begin receiving the integration in Q1 2027 as part of its Digital Marketing solutions.

Cloudbeds frames the move as a way for hoteliers under pressure from distribution costs to protect margins. CEO Adam Harris said that when an agent finds a property running on Cloudbeds, "the booking lands where it belongs," in the hotelier's own system.
