Agoda is positioning B2B distribution as the next step for hotels already connected through a channel manager, via a collaboration with Hoteliers.Guru described on its Partner Hub.

The article, by Naravit Chirasavinuprapand, argues that hotel connectivity is increasingly about reaching new demand and creating commercial opportunities, not only about connecting to more OTAs.

What is on offer

  • Channel managers remain the central tool for independent hotels to distribute rates and inventory across major OTAs from one platform.
  • B2B distribution gives hotels access to wholesale networks, corporate travel, affiliates and other partners serving different markets and traveler segments.
  • Not a replacement: Agoda says B2B channels are meant to sit alongside a hotel's existing distribution mix, adding a layer of demand and diversification without much extra operational complexity.
  • Roles: Hoteliers.Guru's channel manager handles rates and availability across connected channels, while Agoda B2B provides access to Agoda's partner network. Agoda calls B2B "a logical progression" given its two decades of consumer recognition and strong roots in Asia.

Hotels interested in the offer are directed to a form to activate Agoda B2B. As this is a post on Agoda's own partner site, the claims about benefits are Agoda's rather than independently verified.
