Sarah
HomeToGo is putting a new executive in charge of its property-management arm, signalling where the group sees growth: full-service management rather than marketplace alone.
HomeToGo SE has appointed Dr. Christine Prauschke as Chief Business Officer (CBO) and member of its Management Board, effective 1 January 2027. The announcement is dated 14 October 2026.
Role and remit
Prauschke will hold full profit-and-loss responsibility for HomeToGo Originals, the group's full-service property management arm, which includes Interhome. HomeToGo says this covers more than 200 local service offices and 70,000 properties across 28 countries. She succeeds Valentin Gruber in leading HomeToGo Originals.
Her responsibilities include running commercial operations, applying AI capabilities to commercial workflows, overseeing post-merger integration under the group's "buy and build" M&A approach, and expanding revenue through owner service segmentation and geographic growth.
Background
Prauschke was most recently CEO of leadity, a B2B ESG management platform. Earlier roles include Chief Digital/Chief Revenue Officer at Enpal, CEO of CHECK24 Health Insurance, and about seven and a half years at McKinsey & Company.
Comment
Co-Founder and CEO Dr. Patrick Andrae said: "Christine is uniquely equipped to lead that charge." Prauschke said she is "thrilled to join Patrick and the leadership team to scale HomeToGo Originals."
