Booking.com Names Reims, Monterey and Sendai Among 2027's Trending Destinations

Booking.com has published its ten fastest-rising destinations for 2027, a useful indicator of where its demand growth is concentrating.

Released on 14 October 2026, the list was drawn from destinations in Booking.com's top 1,000 most booked between 1 January and 30 June 2026, sorted by year-over-year increase and then lightly curated for geographic distribution.

Booking.com highlights Reims for its chalk-cellar Champagne houses less than 45 minutes from Paris by high-speed train, and Christchurch for its rebuilt city centre and access to the Southern Alps.

Methodology

The list accompanies the 2027 Travel Predictions research, a survey of 28,230 respondents across 33 countries and territories conducted online in July and August 2026.
